Spicy Parmesan Shrimp Skillet

Serves 2 to 4.

  2. In a bowl, whisk olive oil, parmesan, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes together.
  3. Add shrimp to a large ziplock bag, pour marinade into bag, then seal bag and shake to coat.
  4. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes, 2-4 hours or overnight if desired!
  5. Cook
  6. Bring water to boil in a large pot and cook penne according to directions.
  7. While pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Add shrimp and marinade, the entire contents of the bag, into the skillet. Cook shrimp until pink.
  9. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp!
  10. As soon as shrimp is finished, add penne into the skillet and toss to coat completely.
  11. Top with additional parmesan cheese and sliced green onions, then serve.
