Meat Balls
Just something I threw together. Haven't decided on a sauce yet.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp Zatarin's Creole Seasoning
- 2 tbsp dry mustard
- 1 tbsp tumeric
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 2 pinches anise
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 small chopped bell pepper
Instructions
- Mix herbs in a zip lock bag and shake to blend.
- Chop onion and bell pepper into small bits.
- Stir egg in bowl with a fork.
- Spread meat out in a large bowl or pan.
- Sprinkle spices evenly on meat.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs over meat.
- Pour egg over meat.
- Mix everything together with your hands.
- Make appetizer size meat balls and place in two 9½ x 11 pans.
- Cook in 350° oven for 40 minutes.
- Makes about 48 appetizer-size meatballs.
