Irish "Hot Whiskey"
While on a trip in Ireland I developed a bad cold. I asked a bartender if he had a magic cure. He fixed me an Irish Whiskey and said to have one every four hours (about four a day) until the cold was gone. Sure enough, in half a day it was better and after the next day I was fine. I've used the cure since.
Ingredients
- Jameson Irish Whiskey, or your favorite
- lemon
- honey, sugar or simple syrup
- whole cloves

- While the water is boiling, cut a slice of lemon about a quarter of an inch thick.
