Baked Beans (not)
I don't bake my beans for BBQs. I just slowly cook them on the stovetop.
Ingredients
- 2 - 3 lb cans of pork and beans
- 5 andouille sausage
- 2 medium yellow onions
- 2 medium bell peppers
- 4 stalks of celery
- 2 tablespoons Zatarain's Creole Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1/4 cup of French's Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop sausage, onion, bell pepper and celery. Sauté in pot.
- Drain juice from cans of beans.
- Add beans and spices to pot.
- Add mustard and BBQ sauce.
- Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours uncovered.
