Smoked Salmon Spread

Ingredients
- 16 oz. fresh smoked salmon
- 4 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- ¼ onion, minced or grated
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1 Tbsp. (packed) chopped fresh dill, and optional extra to decorate
- 1 cup smoked almonds, finely chopped (1/2 to mix in; ½ to roll or sprinkle on spread)
- ½ tsp. lemon pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Place nuts in the Cuisinart or other food processor and pulse to chop. Reserve ½ cup to garnish the spread when complete.
- Drop the ¼ onion into the food processor bowl when running to mince.
- Put in all other ingredients and mix well.
- Taste to adjust seasonings.
- Can be shaped into a ball in plastic wrap, or put in a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped dill and/or chopped nuts.
- Freezes well.
