Crab Meat Alfredo

This recipe is EASY and absolutely delectable! (NOT low fat.) Serves four.

  1. Prepare sauce.
  2. In large non-stick frying pan, melt butter over low heat.
  3. Stir in cream.
  4. Stir in cheese, still at low heat, whisking frequently.
  5. Just before serving, add crab just long enough to heat.
  6. Prepare pasta.
  7. Heat 4 cups chicken broth and 1 cup white wine in 2 quart or larger saucepan.
  8. Bring to a boil, and simmer the wine and broth 3 minutes.
  9. Increase heat to boiling and add 8 oz. (1/2 a one pound box) dried fettuccini.
  10. Stir noodles constantly, since there is so little boiling liquid.
  11. Cook about 9 minutes (check at 7) make sure they are not overcooked.
  12. Drain, and add to cheese/crab mixture.
  13. Serve with salad and extra Parmesan.
