Old Fashioned Coleslaw

I usually double this recipe and use one medium head of cabbage... no need to measure the cabbage.

Ingredients
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard powder
- 1 tsp. celery seeds
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dill seeds
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup each chopped green and red pepper
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 3 cups cored and finely sliced or chopped cabbage. (I use the thin grater blade on my Cuisinart.)
Instructions
- Place ingredients in a water-tight container in the order given.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate.
- Turn container to spread dressing.
- Best made several hours or a day ahead.
- Keeps 3-4 days.
