Yes, that's right. The Nevada City Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Mardi Gras Parade through downtown Nevada City.
Glady and Larry have had their own Mardi Gras party on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday since 1995. It started mostly as a party for Parrot Head friends in San Ramon. When they moved to Nevada City, the party moved with them. Many new friends and neighbors in Nevada City, and the surrounding area, attend also.
